Ok, so I'm struggling here 
I've followed this guide:

and all I get is a launcher, with no way of launching the client.
Anyone had this/found a way around this??
Any help would be appreciated  |

edit: is it possible for the alliances that previously had permissions you may have copied (or left intact) a captain role on an old character, or they didn't apply to the new set? (just throwing it out randomly, as it seems like a couple of people who are new and then changed role alliances may not be getting it to work?)

worked for me. Wrote it in Local had no problems. I was captain last year too so the permissions idea could be it. |

Still no beacons in systems?? Or do we have to ask specifically for them?
Also, I'm not sure if this has been mentioned yet or not, but we found that some people who were having trouble connecting fixed the problem by adding quotes to a certain part of the target path of their short-cut. This only appears to work if the person in question has their duality client on a different hard-drive to their operating system.
For example:
C:\Duality\bin\exefile.exe /server:Duality
this works perfectly for me as c: is my only drive.
"E:\Duality\bin\exefile.exe" /server:Duality
this is the alteration that had to be made to get it to work for multiple drives.
Hope this helps/isn't a duplicate. |
